Job summary

Idaho Housing and Finance Association is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Modification Assistant to join our Loan Servicing team in Boise. You will support the processing, tracking, and organization of loan modification documents and help maintain efficient workflows for homeowners and partners.

Responsibilities include handling daily incoming documents, organizing mail and correspondence, and responding to general inquiries from other departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• 1–2 years of experience in office administration or residential real estate lending, preferred.
• Experience in loan servicing or related fields that demonstrates understanding of loan documentation processes, preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
• A team-oriented mindset and commitment to providing high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Process daily incoming returned documents
• Sort, track, and monitor incoming mail, ensuring accurate routing and follow-through
• Review incoming documents for accuracy
• Organize outgoing documents for borrowers, title companies, and other agencies
• File, track, and maintain documentation for both incoming and outgoing correspondence
• Respond to general customer inquiries from other departments
• Perform other duties as assigned
