Global is seeking a Commercial Loan Officer to develop new business, structure, underwrite, and close commercial loans, while actively monitoring and managing a loan portfolio. You will meet with business members to promote credit union loan services, interview borrowers, analyze financials and collateral, negotiate terms, and present files for approval.

• Ability to read, analyse, and interpret financial reports and tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Meet with business members to promote loan services and solicit new business.
• Interview prospective borrowers and collect information for loan requests.
• Analyze applicant financial status, credit, and collateral to assess feasibility.
• Negotiate loan structures and terms with borrowers.
• Underwrite requests per policies and present to approval authorities.
• Assist members with inquiries and cross-sell other products.
• Monitor loan portfolio and identify risk; participate in collections as needed.
• Represent the credit union in industry and community activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
