Citizens First Bank, a local community bank, seeks a Loan Document Specialist to work full-time at our Viroqua branch. You will review loan files for compliance, prepare and file documentation, and assist customers while supporting the lending team across the region.

The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory awareness, and cross-training to ensure smooth loan processing. A strong customer-focused approach is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 1 year of accounting, customer service, and/or administrative support experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to review and verify loan documentation and data accuracy.

Aufgaben

• Review loan files for compliance with bank policies, procedures and regulations.
• Coordinate with customers and lending team to obtain missing documentation.
• Verify accuracy of data used in loan documentation and note policy exceptions.
• Prepare files for imaging and maintain loan documentation for all loan types.
• Generate and review document exception reports and follow up on items.
• Conduct due diligence and compliance searches on borrowers and collateral.
• Verify loan fees and ensure payments to third parties are processed.
• Move loan documentation in imaging to correct files.
• Process and type denied loan notices and small claims filings.
• Assist customers with loan payments and answer questions from internal and external customers.
• Maintain tracking of data sources and documents.
• Stay informed on current bank policy and regulatory requirements.
• Cross-train teammates for back-up support.
