Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. is seeking a Loan Documentation Specialist to handle all activities required to prepare and process commercial loan documents, including commitment letters, new loan requests, renewals, and modifications.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and proficiency with loan documentation software and MS Office. You will ensure compliance with laws and internal controls while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus one year of related education or equivalent.
• Typing and PC proficiency (with Microsoft Office Products and loan documentation software).
• Good written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills.
• Knowledge of loan forms, processes, and procedures with attention to detail.
• Minimum of one year office experience.
• All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process commercial loan documents, including commitment letters, new loan requests, loan renewals, material changes, and modifications.
• Prepare commitment letters and loan closing documents in accordance with approvals and bank loan policy.
• Establish pre-closing checklists for tracking of approval conditions.
• Provide exemplary customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable laws and regulations and ensure adherence to policies and internal controls; complete training accordingly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
