Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed reviews of consumer, commercial, and real estate loan files to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Verify loan documents are properly executed and all required signatures have been obtained.
• Review collateral documentation to ensure liens are properly perfected and secured.
• Validate recording, titling, UCC filings, mortgage/deed of trust filings, and other collateral perfection requirements.
• Confirm required insurance coverage, flood determinations, and collateral-related documentation are obtained and maintained.
• Ensure loan files comply with internal lending policies and applicable federal and state regulations.
• Review loans for adherence to regulatory requirements, including TRID, HMDA, Flood Insurance Regulations, Reg B, and other lending requirements.
• Identify documentation exceptions and coordinate resolution with lenders, loan assistants, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain exception tracking and follow-up processes to ensure timely resolution of deficiencies.
• Assist with internal audits, loan reviews, regulatory examinations, and compliance monitoring activities.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance loan quality and reduce operational risk.
• Prepare reports related to documentation deficiencies, collateral exceptions, and compliance findings.
• Support ongoing quality assurance initiatives within the Loan Servicing Department.
