Job summary

Origin Bank in Houston seeks a Loan Processor to prepare and execute clerical duties related to processing consumer and commercial loans, ensuring documents comply with underwriting guidelines and policies.

You will use nCino, TruStage, Laser Pro and IBS Core System to prepare loan packages, notes, collateral, and closing documents, while staying current with regulatory changes and keeping clients informed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; minimum five years banking experience (loan related preferred).
• Laser Pro and IBS Core System experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and prepares loan packages and documentation following underwriting guidelines and policies.
• Prepares consumer/commercial loan closing documents using nCino and TruStage documentation software for all markets.
• Prepares less complex loan transactions.
• Reviews loan applications in nCino for appropriate information and approval.
• Prepares promissory notes and collateral documentation using TruStage.
• Applies appropriate state and federal guidelines to loan processing function and stays abreast of regulatory changes and applies information as needed.
• If needed, check status of entities with Secretary of State (TX, MS, LA, AL & FL).
