Job summary

Union State Bank is seeking a Loan Administrative Assistant to provide clerical and administrative support for the loan administration team. You will handle loan processing tasks, open new deposit accounts, and assist with loan closings as needed.

In this role, expect to maintain strong customer relations, respond to inquiries, and cross-sell bank products. Prior loan processing and knowledge of banking regulations are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous loan processing experience preferred.
• Understanding federal, state and banking regulations required or strongly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and administrative support to the loan administration area.
• Open new deposit accounts for customers as requested.
• Process loan payments and advances and review loan approvals for completeness.
• Order third-party reports for loan files and assist in loan closings as needed.
• Coordinate calendars and meetings for market leadership.
• Cross-sell bank products and refer customers to appropriate staff.
