Job summary

Cargill, Inc in Fargo, ND is seeking a Loadout Operator to manage bulk material loadout and unloading with trucks or rail cars, using conveyors and pumps. You will create scale tickets, sample products, and supervise inventory while maintaining a safe, clean facility.

You will solve problems with minimal guidance, interact with teammates, and provide excellent service while following policies and procedures, including overtime when required.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to learn computer software such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, and SAP.
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions with PPE.
• Ability to work at height up to 140 feet via ladders/stairs.
• Physical ability to bend, lift up to 50 lbs, kneel, climb, crawl and twist.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Willing to overtime, weekends and holidays with notice.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment for loadout/unload of bulk materials using scales and conveyors.
• Create scale tickets, collect samples, and supervise tank inventory in data systems.
• Inspect buildings, grounds and equipment; identify maintenance needs.
• Solve issues independently with minimal guidance.
• Interact with peers, management, merchants and customers to improve operations.
• Make decisions within scope and escalate when needed.
• Provide high level customer service and ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Follow all policies and procedures; perform other duties as assigned.
