Job summary

Cargill is hiring a Lead Technician to operate facility equipment, monitor production, and collaborate with teams to meet specifications and continuous improvement goals. The role involves handling mixers, batching, mills, grinders, and packing processes, plus data entry and safety compliance.

The position requires strong English communication, basic computer skills, and willingness to work varied shifts with overtime, in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written).
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions with PPE.
• Ability to perform physical duties including lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, climbing, and twisting; overtime possible.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and technology across the facility (mixers, batching, mills, grinders, packing, weighing).
• Collect product samples and monitor tank levels; input data into computer systems.
• Manufacture products to meet specifications.
• Collaborate with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement and teamwork.
• Operate forklifts and other mobile equipment.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
