Job summary

Cargill in Sioux City, IA is seeking a Bulk Material Handler to operate loading/unloading equipment for bulk materials, including trucks and rail cars, using scales, pumps, and conveyors.

You will create scale tickets, collect samples, monitor inventory, and input data while supporting continuous improvement and a strong teamwork culture. A safety-first approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written).
• Basic use of a computer.
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions with PPE.
• Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above).
• Ability to perform physical duties including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, and twisting.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment for loadout/unloading bulk materials (trucks/rail cars) using scales, pumps, conveyors, and mobile equipment.
• Create scale tickets, collect product samples, and supervise tank inventory with data entry.
• Inspect buildings, grounds and equipment; perform light maintenance and repairs.
• Interact with peers and management to pursue continuous facility improvements and teamwork.
• Provide high level customer service and adhere to all policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and perform other duties as assigned.
