Job summary

Cargill in Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking a Grain Elevator Maintenance Operator to perform facility operations, including receiving and shipping products, and to maintain equipment to keep the site running smoothly. The role requires basic mechanical maintenance experience and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.

Shift is 1st shift / Monday to Friday 6:45 am to 3:00 pm. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and life insurance, paid vacation and holidays, FSAs, disability

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to perform physical job duties including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, and bending.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written).
• Basic mechanical maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility operations such as receiving and shipping products.
• Maintenance and operator care of equipment to ensure ongoing facility operations.
• Provide excellent customer service and engage with team members.
• Understand and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
