Competitive Salary
At Midland Garage Door, our maintenance team keeps the equipment running that keeps our production lines moving. As our Industrial Maintenance Supervisor, you'll take hands‑on ownership of the automated equipment in our Salt Lake City facility — troubleshooting PLC‑controlled roll forming lines, pneumatic systems, and drives — while leading and developing a team of maintenance technicians. If you're a resourceful, hands‑on leader who thrives on solving tough mechanical and electrical problems, we'd love to hear from you.
The Industrial Maintenance Supervisor leads the maintenance function for a high‑volume garage door manufacturing facility, with primary responsibility for keeping automated production equipment — including PLC‑ and motion‑controlled roll forming lines, pneumatic systems, and associated mechanisms — running safely and reliably, and secondary responsibility for building and grounds upkeep. This is a hands‑on leadership role: the Supervisor both diagnoses and repairs equipment personally and directs a team of maintenance technicians, balancing uptime, safety, cost, and preventive maintenance.
Directly supervises the maintenance team — assigning and reviewing work, training and cross‑training technicians, conducting performance reviews, and administering discipline in line with company policy. Ensures the team follows all safety and company policies, manages overtime and timecards, and approves time‑off requests based on workload and staffing needs.
