Job summary

Midland Garage Door is seeking a Shipping Associate to safely hand load sections, track and hardware per shipping instructions. The role operates in a 3-4 person team with occasional overtime, starting wage $24 per hour. Day shift is 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED and 1 year manufacturing experience or equivalent. Candidates must pass pre-employment testing and background checks and be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required, and 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret orders and follow shipping instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a fast-paced team setting.

Responsibilities

• Know all products in an order and transfer to trailer staging area.
• Pre-pull product such as springs, track, and hardware.
• Load product onto trailers using safe lifting/loading procedures.
• Use hand/power tools as needed.
• Work as part of a 3-4 person team following shipping instructions.
