Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is hiring a Loader to assist customers in locating and loading merchandise, support checkout and order fulfillment, and operate store equipment safely.

The role involves loading customer vehicles, staging orders, and maintaining clean, safe work areas while providing knowledgeable product guidance. Additionally, you will support Pro and Garden Center loading areas, engage with customers to ensure large or complex orders are completed efficiently, and uphold Lowe’s safety

Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service through Lowe’s policies, procedures, and programs
• Assists customers with locating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
• Supports checkout, fulfillment, and customer assistance needs throughout the store
• Pulls, stages, and prepares customer and contractor orders accurately and efficiently
• Uses power equipment and store technology safely to move, stage, and load merchandise
• Maintains in-stock conditions by down stocking and replenishing merchandise
• Supports large order fulfillment while maintaining product quality and accuracy
• Collects carts and helps maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Identifies and reports safety hazards, theft, and security concerns
• Operates store equipment as needed for loading and processing orders
• Communicates product information to customers and employees and provides project guidance
• Follows Lowe’s safety policies and procedures
• Performs additional duties as assigned
• Pro-specific: extend Pro Desk relationships, assist loading and order fulfillment, support Pro loading area and enrollment in Pro Rewards/Pro Credit
• Garden Center-specific: assist loading and orders, support loading area, ensure orders are staged for pickup
• Loader-specific: load customer vehicles with proper techniques and maintain safety and quality standards
