Job summary

Amrize North America is seeking a Loader Operator at our Hubbard, TX plant to feed the wet-mix central plant by moving heavy bulk aggregates from stockpiles into the plant's bins and maintaining stockpile integrity.

This full-time, hourly role requires 2 years related experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a valid driver’s license. A living expenses allowance is provided as part of a special project.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years general related to duties and responsibilities.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of company processes and procedures.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
• Able to prioritize work.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Adapts charging speeds to match high-volume, continuous demand of a wet-mix central plant.
• Operates heavy equipment with spatial awareness around ground crew and trucks.
• Performs daily pre-shift inspections and basic maintenance of the loader.
• Prevents material cross-contamination by ensuring aggregate sizes aren’t mixed in stockpiles or bins.
• Manages stockpiles to prevent segregation.
• Minimizes loader fuel consumption through efficient cycling and reduced idle time.
• Keeps stockpile floors clean to prevent degradation and material loss.
• Maintains awareness around visiting inspectors or engineers near stockpiles.
• Completes and signs off on daily pre-shift equipment inspection checklists.
• Collects and signs material delivery tickets from haulers and hands to Admin Support.
• Complies with health, safety and environmental policies and promotes safety culture.
• Other duties as assigned.
