Job summary

SRM Concrete (Smyrna Ready Mix) is seeking a Loader Operator in West Point, UT to run front-end loaders and other heavy equipment, moving sand, gravel, and cement to keep our plants flowing and production on schedule.

You will load/unload materials, inspect gear, follow safety rules, and work with a team to maintain efficient operations. Training is provided; pre-employment screenings apply; high school diploma is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience with loaders or heavy equipment is preferred; training is provided.
• High school diploma or equivalent is helpful, but not required.
• Safety-conscious and able to speak up if something’s not right.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move materials.
• Load and unload trucks, hoppers, bins, and conveyors.
• Work with crew to keep production on schedule.
• Inspect equipment before/after shifts and report issues.
• Follow safety rules and wear safety gear.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Assist with inventory to prevent shortages.
• Share ideas with plant leaders to improve operations.
• Lend a hand to teammates as needed.
