Qualifications

• One year of related experience and/or training in loader operation.
• Physical capability to sit, stand, bend, climb, lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights and in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Check oil, water, fuel, tires, hydraulic system, etc. and ensure the vehicle is in proper operating condition before leaving for the job site.
• Conduct safety and maintenance checks on assigned equipment and machinery.
• Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers, and depress pedals to operate machines.
• Signal truck driver to position the truck to load/unload dirt, rocks, and other materials.
• Take actions to avoid hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, and falling objects.
• Perform maintenance work to equipment including oiling, greasing, and making necessary adjustments.
