Job summary

Preferred Materials, Inc. is seeking a Loader Operator to move, load and handle materials in the asphalt plant area using heavy equipment.

The role requires operating large machinery like bulldozers and front-end loaders and performing pre-operational checks to ensure safe operation. Ideal candidates will have experience with heavy equipment, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in outdoor conditions, often long hours.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment in construction or public works
• Ability to perform pre-operational checks and basic maintenance
• Strong safety orientation and adherence to traffic rules

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to move earth, rock and materials safely
• Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance
• Assist Plant Manager with materials handling and equipment usage
• Maintain records and report on operations
• Communicate effectively with team and supervisors
