Job summary

Martin-Marietta in Port Arthur, TX seeks a Loader Operator to move aggregate materials safely and efficiently. You will stockpile materials from railcars and load customer trucks accurately, contributing to daily production in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Responsibilities include safety inspections, adherence to MSHA/OSHA rules, and operating with minimal supervision. Training at the Dallas-area office is required for onboarding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Working knowledge of heavy construction equipment.
• 1 year of heavy equipment experience; loader experience preferred.
• Experience with a variety of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with training and manufacturer’s instructions.
• Perform pre-shift safety inspection on vehicle systems, equipment and accessories.
• Perform preventative maintenance and service on mobile equipment.
• Report needed repairs to supervision.
• Ensure cargo is properly loaded according to safety requirements.
• Maintain good housekeeping of equipment.
