Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Loader Operator to safely and efficiently operate a front-end loader/dozer to move aggregate materials on the Abilene site. You will stockpile materials from railcars and load customer trucks accurately and on time.

The role requires attention to safety, ability to work 12-hour shifts, and to perform pre-shift inspections. We offer competitive pay, day-one benefits, 401(k) with company match, and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
• Working knowledge of heavy construction equipment
• 1 year of Heavy Equipment experience; previous loader operator experience preferred
• Experience with a variety of hand tools

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loader/dozer safely and efficiently to move aggregate materials
• Stockpile materials unloaded from railcars and load customer trucks accurately and on time
• Perform pre-shift safety inspections on vehicle systems and equipment
• Report needed repairs to supervision
• Adhere to safety rules and procedures (MSHA/OSHA)
• Assist in plant maintenance and operation of other equipment as needed
