Job summary

Martin-Marietta-1798b2fd is seeking a Loader Operator to safely and efficiently operate a front-end loader/dozer to move aggregate materials on site. You will stockpile materials unloaded from railcars and load customer trucks accurately and on time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience with heavy construction equipment.
• 1 year of heavy equipment experience; loader preferred.
• Experience using a variety of hand tools.
• Ability to read operating manuals and safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently per training and manufacturer instructions.
• Perform pre-shift safety inspections on vehicle systems and equipment.
• Maintain and service mobile equipment as needed.
• Load cargo properly according to safety requirements.
• Assist with plant maintenance and repairs as required.
• Ensure accurate and timely loading of customer trucks.
• Adhere to MSHA/OSHA safety rules and site procedures.
• Perform duties with minimal supervision.
