Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Loader Operator to safely and efficiently move aggregate materials by front-end loader/dozer. You will stockpile materials from railcars and load customer trucks, contributing to daily production in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

The position emphasizes safety, attention to detail and delivering quality service to customers. Training begins at the Dallas Corporate Office, with travel reimbursement for longer commutes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of Heavy Equipment experience; loader operator experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of heavy construction equipment.
• Experience with a variety of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader safely and efficiently in accordance with training and manufacturer's instructions.
• Perform pre-shift safety inspection on the vehicle and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and service mobile equipment; report needed repairs.
• Ensure cargo is properly loaded according to safety requirements; maintain good housekeeping.
• Assist in plant maintenance and repairs and with operation of other equipment as needed.
• Adhere to MSHA/OSHA and plant safety rules, policies, procedures, and regulations.
