Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Glen Allen, VA is seeking a Loader Formula to transport pallets into trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand. This full-time role requires safety focus and the ability to work a Sunday-Thursday shift with Friday rotations, 5:30 PM until completion.

You will prep outgoing freight, wrap pallets, secure loads, and perform other duties to keep the distribution process flowing and compliant with safety standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of warehouse or distribution experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly; capable of lifting 10–35 lb and up to 60–90 lb depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Transport items to be shipped into the trailer with a forklift, pallet jack, or by hand following a loading plan.
• Move outgoing products from staging to loading dock and secure loads with pallets and shrink wrap.
• Locate proper trailer slots, set and secure loads, and maintain clean work areas.
• Perform general housekeeping, follow safety policies, and report unsafe conditions.
• Complete vehicle inspections, replace batteries, and assist other team members as needed.
