Job summary

Performance Food Group’s Performance Foodservice division is seeking a Loader, Non-Formula to support its warehouse operations in Wisconsin. You will transport items into trailers using forklift or pallet jack, prepare pallets for shipping, and ensure accuracy and safety throughout the loading process.

The role requires ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 90 pounds, work in multi-temperature environments, and pass post-offer drug tests and background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to work scheduled times and overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly—10–35 lbs and up to 60–90 lbs depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Transports items to be shipped into the trailer with a forklift, pallet jack or by hand.
• Moves outgoing products from staging area to the loading dock with forklift.
• Wraps pallets with cellophane and secures loads.
• Locates trailer slots and secures the load.
• Removes empty pallets and packaging to proper areas.
• Inspects pallets and moves them to storage as needed.
• Performs housekeeping and keeps area clean and safe.
• Follows safety policies and reports unsafe conditions.
