Sabre Systems, LLC is recruiting a Systems Engineer (Journeyman) to support the Combat Survivability Division at NAS Patuxent River, Lexington Park, MD. This on-site position focuses on Low Observables life cycle management, requirements analysis, risk assessment, and cross-functional collaboration. The role requires a BS in a related field, multi-level security experience, and a TS with SAP eligibility.

Travel about 20% is anticipated. Candidates must be a U.S.

Qualifications

• Must hold an accredited BS degree in systems engineering, aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or a closely related discipline.
• Systems Engineering experience supporting multi-level security projects.
• Experience in systems engineering within a defense, aerospace, or complex technical environment.
• Familiarity with the systems engineering life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, integration, verification, and validation.
• Ability to elicit, analyze, document, and manage requirements from diverse stakeholders.
• Experienc e identifying, assessing, and mitigating technical and programmatic risks.
• Proficiency in preparing technical documents, reports, and presentations.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Must have three (3) years of recent and relevant experience.
• Minimum Security Clearance Requirements Active TS with SAP eligibility
• Desired Security Clearance Requirements Active TS with SAP eligibility and SCI Eligibility
• Optimal Security Clearance Requirements Active TS with SAP eligibility, existing C-Net access, and SCI Access Indoctrination
• Anticipated Travel requirements are 20%.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

• Summarize data and findings to support technical documents and presentations.
• Gather and manage requirements from stakeholders for project objectives.
• Review LO life cycle management documentation for LO systems.
• Identify and document technical, programmatic, and LO readiness risks.
• Facilitate communication among cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Prepare clear technical documents, gap analyses, and plans.
• Contribute to master plans and schedules with milestones.
• Analyze readiness, sustainment, and cost data for investments.
