Job summary

Sabre Systems, LLC is seeking a Tactical Combat Training System Increment II Development Systems Engineer (Journeyman) to support PMA-205 at Patuxent River NAS in Lexington Park, MD. The role focuses on design analysis, requirements management, and engineering development for a next‑generation LVC air combat training system.

Qualified candidates will have a Technical or Scientific BS, 3+ years of related experience, and an active TS clearance (TS/SCI a plus).

Qualifications

• Technical or Scientific BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least three (3) years of recent and relevant experience in a position related to the labor category description is required.
• Demonstrated experience in an area of engineering expertise is required.
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance required; TS/SCI eligibility a plus.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• TCTS II design analysis and requirements management.
• TCTS II capabilities upgrade planning and engineering development of complex systems.
• Employ systems engineering methods and tools in the development of systems.
• Plan and oversee Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR) events that assess system design maturing, technical health, and readiness for the next development stage.
• Manage Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) development and processing.
• Perform risk management activities, assess and track risk mitigations.
• Perform programmatic or technical knowledge identifying, formulating, designing, and/or testing practical solutions to engineering problems.
