Job summary

ElevateBio in Massachusetts seeks a highly skilled LNP Scientist to join the process development team. You will design and execute LNP formulation studies, work with cross-functional groups, and help prepare for large-scale manufacturing of LNP-based therapeutics.

You will evaluate particle size, encapsulation, ligand density, and stability using DLS, zeta potential, and related assays, and collaborate with MSAT, AD, Quality, Manufacturing and external clients to transfer technology and optimize

Qualifications

PhD or MS with extensive industry experience in LNP development or related field.
Experience with GMP, CMC documentation, and technology transfer.
Strong data analysis linking nanoparticle properties to delivery performance.
Experience with LNP analytical methods and biophysical characterization.
Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration across MSAT, Analytical Development, and Manufacturing.
Experience with DoE and statistics is a plus.

Responsibilities

Execute LNP production to support process characterization, technology transfer, and manufacturing readiness.
Collaborate with MSAT, AD, Quality, Manufacturing, and external clients for process development, scale-up and tech transfers.
Characterize LNP and tLNP formulations using analytical techniques to evaluate size, PDI, encapsulation, ligand density, conjugation, and stability.
Analyze data, identify process improvements, and communicate findings to stakeholders and clients.
