NextDecade seeks a Sr. Advisor, Emergency Response & Fire Protection to provide strategic leadership for emergency preparedness, response teams, and fire protection at the Rio Grande LNG Facility and Marine Export Terminal in Brownsville, Texas.

You will establish and sustain a risk-based emergency management program, serving as site SME for LNG emergency response planning, incident command, and coordination with regulatory agencies.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Fire Science, Emergency Management, Safety, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of industrial emergency response, firefighting, fire protection, or emergency management experience.
• 5+ years supporting LNG, gas processing, refining, petrochemical, terminal, or major-hazard operations.
• Experience leading an industrial emergency response team or incident command function.
• Knowledge of NFPA 59A and related industrial fire protection standards.
• TWIC credential and willingness to participate in rotating on-call schedule.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Emergency Response Program across LNG process areas, utilities, marine terminal, and related facilities.
• Develop and maintain Emergency Response Team and fire brigade; define roles and training.
• Oversee fire protection equipment lifecycle, inspections, and readiness.
• Provide fire engineering input to design, MOC, hazard reviews, and modifications.
• Translate hazard studies into Tactical Response Plans and manage drills.
• Coordinate with regulators, local authorities, mutual aid, and external emergency services.
• Lead readiness activities, field exercises, and after-action reviews.
