Job summary

The Technical College System of Georgia is seeking a Training Coordinator for Technical Education to lead LMS training across the system. You will design and deliver annual training, combine onsite and virtual sessions, and collaborate with divisions to support digital instruction and course development.

You will work on curriculum development, training materials, and continuous improvement of training programs, with emphasis on stakeholder coordination and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years related work experience.
• Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Drive and implement systemwide training strategy aligned with LMS initiatives and organizational priorities.
• Identify organizational training needs and define required faculty and staff competencies using data and feedback.
• Design, develop, and scale training programs and materials (e.g., guides, slide decks, surveys).
• Deliver high-impact training through multiple modalities and technology platforms.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using performance data and participant feedback; implement continuous improvement strategies.
• Establish and manage training evaluation processes and performance metrics.
• Coordinate systemwide training efforts across 22 technical colleges and the System Office.
• Lead LMS-related professional development initiatives and support adoption of related learning technologies.
• Manage and maintain training resources, including learning technology documentation and support materials.
• Collaborate with system office divisions, colleges, and external partners to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment in training design and delivery.
• Manage vendor relationships and external training providers to support program delivery.
• Respond to training-related helpdesk inquiries and support requests, leveraging ticket data to identify trends and improve support.
• Provide updates and maintain training-related content for the divisional internet technology support specialist.
• Integrate emerging trends, tools, and best practices into training strategy and delivery.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned
