Job summary

Rangen LLC in Boise, Idaho seeks a Sales Account Manager for Livestock Nutrition to drive growth across ID, UT, NV, OR, MT. You will combine technical expertise with consultative sales to expand our presence and build lasting customer partnerships.

You’ll deliver value-based nutritional solutions, provide field support, and communicate our science and value proposition to customers. Travel up to 50% within the region is required, and a strong track record in nutrition sales is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience.
• 6+ years of sales experience, preferably in livestock nutrition, animal health, or related fields.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
• Knowledge of Animal Science/Ruminant Nutrition a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the region.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Collaborative, self-motivated professional with a drive for business growth.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth and build a sustainable customer pipeline.
• Develop deep understanding of customer needs to deliver tailored nutritional solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and field support to current and prospective customers.
• Enhance credibility by communicating the science and value proposition behind products and solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop sales tools, strategies, and customer engagement initiatives.
• Own account-level management, forecasting, budgeting, and gross margin tracking to support territory profitability.
