Job summary

Kalmbach Feeds is seeking experienced Feed Sales Specialists to expand our presence in multiple markets across the country. You will develop and execute strategies to grow your territory, build strong relationships with producers, retailers, and dealers, and identify new opportunities through referrals and outreach.

You will manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract, achieve quotas, and collaborate with marketing and nutrition teams to support product development and customer

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in feed sales or a related sales field.
• Proven ability to develop new business, grow accounts, and maintain long-term relationships.
• Knowledge of livestock production, animal nutrition, and the agricultural marketplace.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
• Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to expand our customer base.
• Build lasting relationships with livestock producers, retailers, dealers, and industry partners.
• Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, referrals, industry connections, and direct outreach.
• Manage the sales process from initial conversations and product recommendations through negotiations and final contracts.
• Achieve established sales quotas and revenue goals while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with marketing, nutrition, and internal teams to support product development and customer success.
