Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 months of livestock/farm experience.
• Must be able to obtain a driver’s license within 30 days of hire.
• Employer requires post‑hire drug screening at employer expense.
• Lift and carry items up to 60 pounds; work in extreme temperatures.
• Must be able to speak English and follow safety guidelines.
• Adhere to biosecurity and food safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Feed and water livestock; monitor supplies daily.
• Provide basic medical care or arrange vet visits.
• Mark livestock for ownership using brands, tags, or tattoos.
• Maintain heating water systems and clean equipment.
• Move livestock and equipment between farm locations.
• Assist with breeding tasks and births when needed.
• Keep records on growth, feeding, and production costs.
• Operate as required and comply with safety rules.
