Responsibilities

• Attend to livestock and assist with calving, monitor and move livestock using 4-wheelers and side-by-sides to pastures for grazing.
• Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; vaccinate livestock and herd into corrals or stalls.
• Perform minor equipment repairs and routine maintenance of farm implements; repair/replace fences in rough terrain.
• Maintain and repair fences, spray livestock with insecticide, and monitor for environmental hazards; work outdoors in extreme weather.
• Hours may vary; may work 6 days a week; potential for increased wages or bonuses based on experience.
