Job summary

No CDL is required; 3 months of experience and English-speaking ability are needed. Employer-provided housing and meals are included, with transportation to town as required. Compliance with safety and biosecurity rules is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months experience in livestock work.
• Must be able to obtain a driver’s license within 30 days of hire.
• Drug screen and criminal background check required after hire.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and work in extreme temperatures.
• Must speak English.

Responsibilities

• Feed and water livestock and monitor supplies.
• Move livestock between pastures and enclosures.
• Inspect animals for illness and assist with basic treatments.
• Tag, brand, or identify livestock for ownership.
• Inspect and repair farm equipment and facilities.
• Assist with breeding and artificial inseminations as needed.
• Operate farm transport and equipment and assist with duties.
