Job summary

Oak View Group seeks an Event Manager to execute all phases of assigned events from advance planning through wrap. You will hire, train, schedule, supervise, and manage event staff; coordinate with security, lessees, and public safety officials; ensure customer and client satisfaction; and oversee safety, logistics, and post-event settlements.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of event management in stadium/arena/public assembly facility setting.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in facility management, hospitality management, business, or related field.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of crowd management and customer service practices.
• Experience with budget preparation and control.
• Familiarity with facility use contracts and fire/public safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Advance, plan, service, and supervise all events.
• Lead and evaluate the work of subordinates.
• Provide leadership for event personnel.
• Coordinate with lessees/clients, municipal officials, and staff.
• Prepare pre-show financial estimates and post-show settlements.
• Recruit, train, and supervise event and security staff.
