Job summary

Oak View Group seeks a Concessions Manager to oversee venue concessions operations, including inventory control, product ordering, staff training, and cash controls. You will manage a team, ensure compliance with alcohol service policies, and support event planning with a focus on safety, quality, and guest satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment, with a commitment to maintaining high service

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or greater in Culinary Management, Business Management, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience in Concessions Management, Food & Beverage Management, or related experience.
• Experience training new employees and volunteers.
• Strong working knowledge of computer applications: Microsoft Office, POS systems, and timekeeping systems.
• Nationally recognized food service sanitation training certification preferred.
• Nationally recognized alcohol service training certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage, develop, and mentor a staff of concessions employees, including discipline as required.
• Document employee performance and attendance issues per policy.
• Ensure proper setup of concession locations before doors; verify inventories and sanitation.
• Provide oversight for profitable event execution and high service standards.
• Oversee large inventory, order products, and manage high-volume sales.
• Run concession operations before, during, and after events; staff scheduling and POS monitoring.
• Train new and current employees on procedures and best practices.
• Cover open positions to maintain operations and service levels.
• Assist Premium Services operations and event needs as directed.
• Supervise Concession Supervisors, Stand Managers, Cooks, and Cashiers.
• Adhere to alcohol distribution/service, sanitation, and safety guidelines.
