Job summary

Oak View Group is hiring a Food & Beverage Manager to support the General Manager in running the venue’s catering, concessions, premium, and beverage operations. You will supervise staff, enforce alcohol policies, and drive profitable, compliant service across events.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and solid experience in fast-paced food-service settings; salary ranges from $52,000 to $60,000 annually with full benefits.

Qualifications

• BA or BS with a business-related major; accounting minor or credits preferred.
• 3-5 years of management experience in the food-related or concessions industry.
• Nationally recognized, advanced food service sanitation training course certification.
• Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, professional, and courteous manner.
• Ability to make sound business/operations decisions quickly and under pressure.
• Solid working knowledge of computer applications: Microsoft Office, POS systems, and timekeeping systems.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
• Possess a valid Food Handler's certificate and Alcohol Service Permit if required by state or local government.
• Valid alcohol service permit if required by the state and/or county of the venue.
• Familiar with inventory cost control and menu planning.
• Ability to calculate basic and complex math functions; handle cash accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the overall effective management of catering, concessions, premium, and beverage operations.
• Ensures total compliance with all alcohol service policies.
• Monitors alcohol service throughout the event to ensure 100% compliance with policies.
• Reports any alcohol service or compliance issues to Spectra management immediately.
• Assist in the management of catered events from set-up to tear-down and coordination with staff and guests.
• Ensure legal, efficient, professional, and profitable operation of the venue.
• Generate and review financial reports, including budgets, projections, forecasting, revenue analysis, and labor costs.
• Program and maintain the point of sale system for accurate reporting and inventory control.
• Develop menus and marketing plans with department heads.
• Establish relationships with show managers, suppliers, and the public.
