This Flex role is onsite and project-based, requiring calm under pressure, strong technical skills with streaming pipelines and monitoring tools, and the ability to coordinate across engineering, production and operations on diverse assignments.

Qualifications

• Experience in live streaming operations in professional, freelance, or personal settings.
• Sound understanding of streaming pipelines and CDN infrastructure.
• Proven incident management experience with monitoring dashboards and escalation workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, especially under pressure.
• Strong troubleshooting of consumer devices, software, and system issues.
• Ability to work independently and make rapid decisions during live events.
• Proficiency with Slack and internal tracking tools (Airtable).
• Comfort working in virtualized/cloud environments and navigating many apps.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate and monitor complex live streaming events to ensure service health.
• Oversee device performance, CDN stability, and viewer experience during broadcasts.
• Identify risks and validate stream integrity during events.
• Lead real-time incident response and coordinate with teams to drive resolution.
• Document incidents for post-mortems and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate handoffs between shifts and align with production and engineering teams.
