Advanced Systems Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Live Streaming Operator to join our on-site team in Los Gatos, CA. You will monitor real-time streaming events, manage incidents, and work closely with engineering and operations to ensure high-quality viewer experiences.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of streaming pipelines, CDN performance, and the ability to stay calm under pressure during live productions. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and varied schedules is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in live streaming operations, in any capacity (professional, freelance, or personal).
• Strong understanding of live streaming pipelines and CDN infrastructure.
• Proven incident management experience with monitoring dashboards and escalation workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, especially under pressure.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting consumer devices, software, and basic systems.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate and monitor complex live streaming events, ensuring service health and viewer experience.
• Oversee consumer device performance, product service health, and CDN stability during live broadcasts.
• Validate stream integrity and proactively identify risks during events.
• Lead real-time incident response during live events and coordinate with engineering and teams to drive resolution.
• Document incidents thoroughly for post‑mortems and continuous improvement.
