Job summary

Advanced Systems Group, LLC is seeking a Live Production Operator to orchestrate 24/7 FAST channel broadcasts. You will lead live events, manage playlists in Amagi, and coordinate with the control room team to ensure high-quality, real-time broadcasts.

You’ll handle remote content, troubleshoot live issues, and adapt to shifting schedules, including weekends and nights. This role suits candidates with 2+ years in live production who thrive under pressure and enjoy creative collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of live production experience in broadcast or streaming environments.
• Experience operating broadcast playlists (Amagi, Frequency, Crispin, or similar platforms).
• Bonus: familiarity with streaming protocols (RTMP, SRT, HLS).
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and commitment to quality broadcasts.
• Thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute live events on a 24/7 FAST channel, managing playlists within an Amagi UI.
• Act as the primary contact in the control room, collaborating with Directors, Producers, and Production staff to ensure seamless broadcasts.
• Deliver smooth live broadcasts featuring remote content creators, using troubleshooting skills to resolve issues quickly.
• Independently resolve real-time challenges during live streams to maintain flawless channel feeds.
• Take on ad-hoc tasks in operations, scheduling, creative projects, and marketing.
• Offer flexible hours including regular weekends and nights to keep the channel running smoothly.
