Job summary

iHeartMedia in Phoenix seeks a part-time Promotions Assistant to support planning and execution of local events and on-site activations. You will assist with branding, coordination with clients, and ensuring events run smoothly while upholding iHeart’s standards.

The role requires strong organization, excellent communication, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Prior event experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and the public.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 45 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of local events and promotions aligned with station branding and client objectives.
• Set up and break down audio equipment, tents, generators, and other staging elements.
• Coordinate contest prizes and fulfillment; manage logistics like venue setup and signage.
• Collaborate with Sales, Programming, and Marketing to develop promotional campaigns.
• Act as on-site lead during events, ensuring smooth execution and professional representation.
