Job summary

iHeartMedia in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a part-time Promotions & Events Assistant to help plan and execute local events, concerts, community activations, and live broadcasts that align with station branding and client objectives.

You will coordinate logistics, collaborate with Sales, Programming and Marketing, lead on-site during events, engage with listeners and clients, manage promotional inventory, and support digital and social media efforts while tracking event performance and client

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with the public and clients.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for events.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of local events and promotions that align with station branding and client objectives.
• Coordinate logistics such as venue setup, staffing, signage, giveaways, and technical needs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Programming, and Marketing teams to develop integrated promotional campaigns.
• Serve as on-site lead during events, ensuring smooth execution and professional representation.
• Engage with listeners and clients to create memorable brand interactions and gather feedback.
• Maintain promotional inventory and ensure materials are prepped and transported as needed.
• Support digital and social media efforts by capturing content and tracking event performance.
