Job summary

JBS Foods in De Queen, AR seeks a 2027 Live Operations Management Trainee to rotate through all major production sectors, gaining hands-on leadership experience in a diverse, high-volume environment. You will shadow teams in hatchery, broiler, breeder, and feed mill operations, learning egg handling and KPI-driven projects.

The program includes three Leadership Development trainings at our U.S. Headquarters in Greeley, CO, with final placement in a leadership role after the last four months of

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum GPA 2.5 or higher.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Alignment with JBS core values and culture.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Willingness to work different shifts and occasional weekends.
• Flexibility to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Participate in rotations across all business sectors at the location to gain hands-on knowledge of processes.
• Provide support to the live operations team and shadow the Hatchery.
• Understand egg handling, vaccinations, transfer and chick handling.
• Shadow broiler techs, gain knowledge on housing and farm operations.
• Shadow pullet crews in breeder rotation and assist with servicing and weighing.
• Tour the feed mill and understand the full production process.
• Observe Live Haul and assist with unloading trucks.
• Complete a KPI-driven project with measurable impact.
• Participate in Leadership Development Training sessions at corporate headquarters.
• Finalize placement in a leadership role after the program.
