Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Live Operations Manager in Sanford, NC, to plan, organize, and direct production activities ensuring high-quality birds for processing at the lowest feasible cost. The role includes managing live haul, feed haul, and garage operations to ensure timely delivery of birds, feed, and maintenance of vehicles and equipment.

• Bachelor’s degree typically required in a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of DIRECTLY RELATED experience.
• Experience in Live Haul, Feed Haul, and related poultry operations preferred; hatchery/broiler experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Oversee live operations at processing facility including breeder/broiler production, hatcheries, feed mills and nutrition.
• Establish hatchery and breeder/broiler management programs to meet volume and cost objectives.
• Resolve conflicts and act as primary liaison for processing operations including sales.
