Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Broiler Service Technician in Sanford, NC to support flock health, welfare, and performance while complying with PPC standards. You will guide growers, monitor biosecurity, nutrition, and environmental conditions, and report on flock data.

The role requires a BS in Poultry Science or related field, 2–5 years of related experience, and strong communication. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to lift 50 lbs are also expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Poultry Science or similar field preferred.
• 2–5 years of directly related experience preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between Pilgrim’s and contract growers.
• Monitor flock health and husbandry practices; provide improvement recommendations.
• Track, record, and analyze flock data (mortality, feed, growth).
• Maintain feed inventories and coordinate feed orders.
• Ensure biosecurity and company protocol compliance through inspections.
