Job summary

Pilgrim’s, a leading global poultry company, is seeking a Broiler Manager to direct and optimize broiler operations. You will oversee scheduling of live birds, train supervisors, and monitor performance and costs to ensure a quality product.

Role requires strong communication, 5–7 years in poultry grow-out and a related Bachelor’s degree. Driver’s license and compliance with safety checks are expected as part of a rigorous operations environment.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years DIRECTLY RELATED experience in poultry grow-out operations.
• 5-7 years’ experience supervising others.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; SAP experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day scheduling of live birds for processing.
• Trains and develops supervisors and field technicians.
• Evaluates route and farm broiler performance related to live costs.
• Directs programs for growing broilers for contract producers.
• Communicates with Live Operations Manager on performance and cost issues.
• Monitors adherence to established programs by personnel and contractors.
• Directs placement of new chicks and ordering of supplies.
• Monitors flock health and plant efficiency.
