Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Plant Manager to direct overall operations at the prepared foods poultry plant. You will lead production, maintenance, and related functions to meet cost and quality targets while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires building and coaching a capable team, monitoring performance, and delivering results through continuous improvement, with a focus on efficient operations and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of directly related experience in a poultry processing plant.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; High School Diploma/GED accepted with related experience.
• Strong leadership and staff development capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Directs production and ensures cost effectiveness and quality/accuracy standards.
• Maintains plant property and equipment in good condition to meet regulations and efficient operations.
• Prepares operating reports and recommends improvements for efficiency.
• Ensures effective customer service and timely delivery of quality product.
• Selects, trains, develops, and motivates manufacturing staff.
• Ensures compliance with company policy and federal/state/local regulations.
• Sets production and processing goals for the plant.
