Job summary

Pilgrim’s is a leading global food company. This Production Supervisor role in Sanford, NC is the frontline leader overseeing daily operations in our poultry facility.

You’ll ensure targets are met while upholding safety, quality and efficiency; based on the production floor, you’ll coordinate team duties, monitor equipment and workflow, and enforce health and safety standards. Must be willing to work any shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• 1+ year supervisory experience leading 20+ employees preferred.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and basic computer skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and create a positive work environment to reach productivity.
• Organize manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules for efficient operations.
• Oversee performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Promote open communication to build team morale and support company values.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
• Ensure safety standards are followed and promote a safe working environment.
• Take on additional responsibilities to support Plant Operations Team.
