Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a seasonal, live-in role at rural summer camp facilities across the US. You will lead daily culinary operations, supervise staff, and manage budgeting while ensuring allergen safety for campers.

This on-site position demands a high-energy, hands-on leader capable of handling high-volume service, strict sanitation, and long work weeks; the contract runs May through September with room and board provided.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role.
• ServSafe Manager Certified (Allergens) before start date.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stand for long hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking and timely meal service.
• Strictly manage allergen protocols and sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, place food orders, control budgets, track daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
