Job summary

The University of Indianapolis invites applications for a Residence Life Coordinator (RLC) in the Office of Residence Life. This full-time, 12-month position includes live-on housing, a partially furnished apartment, and a meal plan to support staff and student community development.

The RLC oversees student staff (RAs/ACAs), conducts training and evaluations, coordinates Living Learning Communities, and collaborates with campus partners to promote student success and conduct policies.

Qualifications

• Experience working with undergraduate and graduate students.
• Supervisory experience or work in university settings.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision to student staff (RAs/ACAs/GAAs) and conduct regular development meetings.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate student staff and maintain staff meetings.
• Promote a positive team environment and uphold departmental policies.
• Oversee Living Learning Communities and coordinate with faculty liaisons.
• Maintain administrative records and collaborate with facilities for housing operations.
• Respond to student needs, connect to campus resources, and participate in crisis procedures.
